15th of January 2008 - Contest start: Until the deadlines mentioned below level designers from all over the world are invited to submit their maps to this website.


1. Multiplayer Modes - InstantAction & PowerStruggle
Players can submit their multiplayer maps to Crymod web site at this website. After the submission deadline has been reached the World Wide Crysis community will test every map on provided online servers.

By then, they will be invited to rate their preferred maps in both the "PowerStruggle" and "InstantAction" categories, while scoring them from 1 to 5 points corresponding to the following: 5 points = best and 1 point = worst.

1. LEVEL CREATION STAGE
  1. level creation stage - Multiplayer Alpha Screenshot Submission
    Start Date: 5th of February 2008
    Delivery: Alpha Screenshot submission of the level to be done in the Crymod Challenges section.
    Deadline: March 4th, 2008
  2. level creation stage - Multiplayer Beta Screenshot Submission
    Start Date: March 4th, 2008
    Delivery: Beta Screenshot submission of the level to be done in the Crymod Challenges section.
    Deadline: April 1st, 2008
2. SELECTION STAGE
  1. selection stage - Multiplayer level delivery
    Delivery: Level submission to the Crymod Challenges section.
    Deadline: 1st of April 2008, 18H00 PM CET is the deadline for submitting the multiplayer maps.

  2. selection stage - Community reviews and votes the maps
    Start of reviewing and voting: 1st of April 2008
    End of reviewing and voting: 15th of April 2008

    By then Crymod will provide the 10 best rated maps per game mode to the Jury.

  3. selection stage - Winners nomination and prize distribution
    Date: 9th of May 2008
    According to the criteria of the contest, the Jury announces the winners of the different assignments for "PowerStruggle" and "InstantAction". Additionally the winners of the Special Awards in the categories "Best InstantAction E-Sport level" and "Best PowerStruggle E-Sport level" will get named.

2. Singleplayer
Players can submit their Singleplayer maps to Crymod web site at this website. After the submission deadline has been reached the World Wide Crysis community will test every map.

By then, they will be invited to rate their preferred maps in the Singleplayer category, while scoring them from 1 to 5 points corresponding to the following: 5 points = best and 1 point = worst.

    Delivery: Alpha Screenshot submission of the level to be done in the Crymod Challenges section section.
    Deadline: 6th of May, 2008
  2. level creation stage - Singleplayer Beta Screenshot Submission
    Start Date: 6th of May, 2008
    Delivery: Beta Screenshot submission of the level to be done in the Crymod Challenges section.
    Deadline: 17th of June, 2008
2. SELECTION STAGE
  1. selection stage - Singleplayer level delivery
    Delivery: Level submission to the Crymod Challenges section.
    Deadline: 17th of June 2008, 18H00 PM CET iis the deadline for submitting the singleplayer maps.
  2. selection stage - Community reviews and votes the maps
    Start of reviewing and voting: 17th of June 2008
    End of reviewing and voting: 1st of July 2008

    By then Crymod will provide the 10 best rated maps per game mode to the Jury.

  3. selection stage - Winners nomination and prize distribution
    Date: 15th of July 2008
    According to the criteria of the contest, the Jury names the winners of the different assignments for "Singleplayer". Additionally the winner of the Special Award in the category "Best Cutscene" will get announced.
